Mobile Training for the Persistent Traveler

post Image

Feeling great mentally and physically are the keys to looking your best. True beauty really emanates from the inside out,  but how can we maintain a workout schedule when our lives and jobs often require so much travel? Luckily, my trainer fits in my carry-on.

When I’m in the road, I love to start my days getting my blood pumping and music going. No gym, no pool, no studio, no problem. Thankfully, there’s an app for that! In fact, there’s a ton of apps dedicated to helping you stay in shape whether you’re in your hotel room or out on trails all over the country. I’ve scoured the net for the best, and here are my top 3:

iCircuit Training – Fitness Workouts For Losing Weight and Building Muscle by Matt Rackets and Fitness

Love the progression tracking and music features on this one.

Travel WODs by Agilevent

Like a cross fit workout that can be done inside / outside for any amount of time. No equipment needed. Just you and your body weight.

Authentic Yoga with Deepak Chopra for iPad by Signal Patterns

I’m a huge believer in the power of yoga for overall physical well-being. Yoga is the perfect answer to the excessive amount of sitting that travel often demands.

These are three of the most useful fitness apps I’ve found which suit my lifestlye. What about you? What apps make working out fun and easy for you? Let me know on Facebook!
